AMENITIES
Caroline Pines has several community amenities for each property owner in good standing to enjoy. The amenities include, lake privilages of boating, fishing and swimming, use of the pavilion, bay and banquet room, beach area, in-ground concrete swimming pool and the use of recreational vehicles - ATV, go-carts and dirt bikes - in approved areas.






LAKES

Lake Usage:

Lake Pinewood - (Camping area) small boat or canoe, no motor other than electric, no swimming

Lake Shannon - Small boat or canoe, no motor other than electric

Lake Dejarnette - (swimming lake) power boats, swimming
Lake Houston - Small boat or canoe, no motor other than electric, no swimming

Pond Houston - Small boat or canoe, no motor other than electric, no swimming






SWIMMING POOL

Season: The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Hours: During the season, the pool will be open every day from 10:00 a.m. until 8 p.m., except on Fridays. On Friday's there will be adult swim from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations:

  1. You must have a pool pass to be able to swim. Passes will be available at the pool or administrative office.
  2. The pool can be used ONLY during scheduled hours. Safety regulations will be strictly enforced and any infraction of the rules can result in having your swimming priviledges revoked. The Association Management staff/pool Monitor ("Managament") has the authority to deny the use of the pool for any remainder of that day to any person failing to observe and abide-by these rules and regulations. Management reserves the right to permanently deny the use of the pool to anyone violating the rules.
  3. All persons using the pool or pool area do so at their own risk and sole responsibility for personal injury or any loss of life. Management reserves the right to revise or establish additional rules and regulations.
  4. Running, pushing, wrestling, horseplay, ball playing, profanity, or causing any undue disturbance in the pool area are permitted at any time. Violators may be asked by Management to leave the pool area.
  5. All accidents, including minor incidences, must be reported to the Management immediately.
  6. The pool may be closed at any time due to weather (rain. lightening, and thunder), breakdown or other operational difficulties. Management cannot be held liable for any loss related to the pool, monetary or otherwise.
  7. No one will be allowed to use the pool after closing time. Anyone found in the pool area after closing will be considered trespassing and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
  8. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18 years or older) at all times. Babysitters are required to have a guest pass to enter the pool area. No adult may supervise more than three children under the age of 13 in the pool area at a time.
  9. Non-swimmers will not be allowed beyond the 5-ft. deep mark.
  10. Admission may be refused to anyone with skin abrasions, colds, infections, or wearing bandages.
  11. All bathers must wear proper swimming attire in the pool (no bermuda shorts, cut-off jeans, etc. will be allowed). All small children must wear bathing suits in the pool (no diapers).
  12. The pool may be rented for private parties after regular hours at a fee of $75.00. $25.00 will be refunded after the event ends provided all rules and regulations have been followed and the area cleaned.
  13. Please use trash receptacles for paper, cans, cigarettes, cigars, refused, etc.
  14. Glass containers of any kind are not permitted in the pool area. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the pool premises at any times.
  15. Management assumes no responsibility for articles left in the pool area, nor assumes responsibility for loss or damage to any personal property. Any damage caused by a resident or their guests to the Association's property will be replaced or repaired by the resident at their expense.
  16. Loitering around the pool area is not permitted at any time.
  17. Boogie boards are not permitted in the pool.






GENERAL INFORMATION

*The road system in Caroline Pines is maintained by Caroline Pines Property Owners Association and are governed by Virginia state laws. The posted speed limit is 25 miles per hour on all roads inside the communtiy.

*Caroline Pines is served by Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department, Co. 5, located at 30240 Richmond Turnpike, Hanover, Virginia, approximately 8 miles away.

*Water is supplied by a community well system and is serviced by Caroline Pines Property Owners Association. This water is tested monthly for contaminates by an outside testing source. The monthly water report can be obtained by contacting the management office.

*All dogs must be registered at the office and may not run loose at any time.

*Each property owner shall maintain his property in a clean presentable condition.

*Bottles and glass items are not allowed on the beach.
